Medicare provides 10 sessions under a plan per calendar year. There is a gap to pay above the Medicare rebate.

A Neuropsychologist is a specialist in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders associated with conditions affecting the brain. A neuropsychological evaluation is an in-depth assessment of skills and abilities linked to brain function. The aim of an assessment is to define a client’s specific cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and measures areas such as intelligence, planning and organising, attention/concentration, problem solving, memory, language, visual-spatial skills, academic skills and social-emotional functioning such as motivation, mood state, quality of life and personality styles.
